I see the reviews for this item is mixed with all different configurations/models, I bought the small one for under 300€ and I'm really happy with it. Built a small stand for it and hanged the controller on it. Put a brick in the bottom for weight and some rubber mat underneath for stable condition. Easy to install and with 2 configurations, big wheel or the 2 smaller for flat. Powerful but you have to run it on max 70% for months accordingly to the manual. Belts found on Amazon. And it's 25 x 762 mm for this small version. ...See more See less

Incredible feature with speed control for this price. A solid unit that has now made several knives in my shop. Overall a good purchase, but be prepared to have to make small modifications for it to be good. Examples: A screw holding in the fan mount on the motor came loose and got hammered around. Remove the shroud and add some loctite to these and tighten. They were all loose. The bolt hole on the right side of the base is way too close to the belt and will touch it. I waited until I had time to actually use it a little; overall it's good value for the money, everything is sturdy and balanced, the only weak points I see are * the same arm used for everything - it's clunky to switch from contact wheel to platen, for instance * the platen is covered with something that looks like a graphite foam, and that thing wears very fast (it already has a depression in it after grinding a knife) * the table is more like an afterthought, very clunky to use and pretty poor finish overall ...See more See less

I bought mine for knifemaking. it is affordable compared to the local offers, but still quite expensive for me. The build quality is pretty high. the steel bars and arms are of very thick gauge, it's very stable, very low vibration with the wheel or the platten; The adjustable speed helps a lot on the work I do, smaller knife blades. The standard belts dull pretty quickly, and are of a finer grit than what I'd like, mine did not snap as other have reported, but I was careful with the tension. I bought locally another 150 euros worth of belts. The power is there even at low speeds, which is nice. Overall, I wish I bought this sooner. ...See more See less

Absolutely AWESOME ...super quick delivery right to my door,(in 4 days),it is a VERY well built machine,heavy and solid with lots of features (even more than is in the description) ,accepts various lengths of belts ,comes with extra attachments ,even more than it's listed in the description,(like 1" AND 2" wheels for channel grinding) ...to say I am VERY HAPPY would be an understatement ....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AAA+++ ...See more See less
