I work on cars a lot as a hobby and a necessity, and I bought this set initially to re-shape the threads on an irreplaceable stud which got mangled during removal. I now open it up almost every time I pull bolts off a car - it's extremely useful to have, if only to compare and measure bolts and nuts for ordering replacements.The plastic case is strong (and red, not black as shown here...) and grips all the taps and dies tight even as you lift the lid up and over, which was a relief. All the tools seem to be of good quality metal. Although there are some shallow or misplaced markings on the pieces and some general inconsistencies, this is still a really good quality set for the money which really surprised me. Nothing in here feels flimsy or liable to break, so I'll happily accept some trivial imperfections so long as it all keeps working for me.I may update this review later as I use it more, but for now I'm impressed with it.
