I update a very old dump trail with an English threaded hydraulic hose. Thanks to a previous reviewer I new I would have to go to a local hydraulic supply and repair to buy a $12 metric to english convertor. The mounting bolts do not come with and they are Metric also.

I was really surprised by this setup. I was a little uneasy about ordering it because I wasn't sure if it was going to truly be able to replace the pump that came on my dump trailer originally but let me tell you, hands down you are getting your money's worth here. I have a 16' trailer with 4 foot walls with the dual piston and it lifted 5 tons pretty damn easy. I'm still not trying to shovel loads like I did sometimes with my last pump but so far about ten loads in I'm more impressed each time. As far as the fittings, yea they need to send the correct ones, I had hell finding them and not just any store stocks them. My local hydraulic store after about an hr or scrambling ended up finding what I was describing. I will say though this one is alot slower than my last pump and smaller looking but All in all I would order again. Good luck with the fittingsPs. The picture I put up is of one of the smaller loads, it's the only one I have.

Works great. Just hook it to a 12v battery and plumb one hydraulic hose and a push button switch. Very pleased with it.

I'm happy with the pump. After reading other issues from other reviews I thought I would have some hiccups or extra parts needed during the install. I took the cap off the top of tank and replaced with the fitting that was screwed into my old pump (same threads luckily) for the return line even though no fluid flows through this line in order to seal the system. You could also use a breather which is just a cap basically with small holes to allow air but filter dirt out from the outside air but this seems to work for now so gonna leave it. It's faster and quieter than my old pump but that's cuz the old one was probably 10 years old and barley working. 5 stars so far will update if have problems later.
