This does the job just great once you get the hang of it.It's very fiddly to set up and the instructions are useless. I recommend that you watch "Fishers Shop " on YouTube to get an idea of how to use. The more familiar you are the easier it gets (obviously).It is a very substantial piece of kit (you need arms like Popeye) compared to others on the market. It works by introducing the blade to the disc rather than the other way round which I like. It does have its shortcomings (see photo).The locking bar on the main turret fouls the blade holding mechanism. The locating pin sits on a shaft which sides down once loosened (I made a collar to keep at the right height).This locating pin is secured with an Allen head bolt which is very awkward to get at and I changed this to a hex head. The most annoying thing is this bolt has a habit of moving when you tighten it up just when you have everything set up. Not sure about the accuracy of the scale, they are just stuck on labels.It's more an eyeball to get the teeth parallel to the disc. Having said that I do like it.It takes longer to set up than to actually sharpen the blade and is pure convenience

I have sharpened 8 blades so far and the tool has worked fine. I like the low sound level, too. I have grinded dry without water tank because this machine is sold mainly without water cooling. Let's see, how the diamond disk will last... I changed two 6mm allen screws in blade support to finger screws for better manouverment without tools. I also removed the red sticker for vertical zero point, because it was not in the zero point. I used 90 degrees angle meter to match the blade table 90 to the diamond disk and then draw a thin permanent ink line matching the zero. I have saved now the machine price against sharpening cost in a sharpening shop. It though needs a bit training to get familiarized. So don't start training with Your premium blade but take a cheaper one first. A good trick is to put black ink to the sharpening area in the blade tooth to fine tune adjusments in the sharpening machine.

Takes a little bit of working out but works like a dream. Quite a few different size blades sharpened that now cut like new. This machine will save more than its cost in the long run. A good buy.

Ho dato due stelle alla leggerezza ma non è un difetto perché è un prodotto del genere è giusto che sia molto pesante.La struttura è estremamente robusta e non ha giochi. Occorre perdere parecchio tempo per regolarlo su ogni lama da affilare, Ma ritengo sia da considerare normale.Una volta regolato mantiene le regolazioni per tutta la durata dell'operazione.Come tutti gli strumenti da affilatura occorre fare un minimo di pratica ed avere un po' di manualità, ma il risultato che ho ottenuto mi sembra assolutamente soddisfacente. Non vi è una pompa per la lubrificazione, la lubrificazione avviene semplicemente per caduta del liquido dal serbatoio posto in alto. Io ho usato acqua che per affilatura va benissimo.La macchina è fatta in maniera che il liquido di lubrificazione scivoli verso il basso raccogliendosì nella base stessa della macchina dalla quale poi potrà essere drenato aprendo un apposito tappo.Mi auguro soltanto che il disco di molatura abbia una durata soddisfacentePer il resto direi 5 stelle

Not bad value and at the end of the day it seems to do the job. A bit tricky to set up precisely but I have only tried sharpening a 26 blade so it may be easier on smaller blades. The diamond wheel doesn_ seem the best as I_e already worn through the coating in one area and had to order another for future sharpening jobs. The machine itself should hopefully pay for itself after another half a dozen uses.

I'm both a machinist and wood worker who's been in busyness 20 years. I had concerns about a Cheap Chinese machine, truth is over the years I've bought some really expensive American garbage. I just sharpened 5 Forrest 12" Woodworker 2 Blades, $170 a piece. I just ran a 12/4 cherry board through my table saw, flawless, not one burn. Only a perfect blade will do that.So, have no worries. Think about it, this sharpener is the price of a few tanks of gas. Yes, Great value for the money. I also purchased the upgraded grinding wheel.
