This is definitely Not a Toy.. the hot wire even on a low setting can become visibly red hot. but that been said, it does exactly what is needed, cuts foam. I am a model maker, and it enabled me to make a small section of wall in a small scale from high density foam insulation board. well worth the money paid, then refunded because it was lost in post. tried to contact seller to send money back, but seller is obviously replying with copy and paste comments. Cant imagine if anything was to go wrong with the machine, the seller would be very helpful. Also, the variable thermostat gets hot when in use..
